Monday, September 29th, 2008I do lots of mountain bike riding while listening to my ipod. Hate this armband. My headphone wires catch a tree limb or my handle bars when I jump and twist. Or the whole unit starts sliding down my arm unless its tight enough to shut off blood circulation! lol Any input is appreciated.

Open Question: Why does my mountain bike randomly change gears when I am riding?
Monday, September 29th, 2008When I am riding, especially in gears 6, 7, and 8, they randomly change gears. So when I am standing up and riding, it changes gears and the pedals smack into my leg and I fall farward and crush my chest on my handlebars! It hurts! Does anyone know why it is doing this? I THINK it might have something to do with the barrel adjusters but I am not sure what to do with them, or what they are. So if anyone knows, please can you tell me why and explain what to do? Thanks.

Monday, September 29th, 2008I am after a new set of 26″ wheels for my Kona Fire Mountain. The bike is used on and off road (light trails mainly). I would like the wheels to be lighter than my standard ones (Rigida ZAC-19SL rims and stainless 14g spokes), and also to look pretty cool.
My budget is £160ish for the pair if its possible!

Monday, September 29th, 2008I am going to start mountain biking next summer. I am a 25 year old male, 5′7″, 160 lbs, with a 30″ inseam. What size bike/tires would you recommend. Right now I have a Diamond Back, I don’t know what size frame it is. All I know is that from the ground to the top of the handle bars is 43″, it has 26″ tires. The bike is to big for me to ride on trails.
