Open Question: Should I spend $275 on a late 80s Trek 1000 bicycle?

September 29th, 2008

The bicycle has barely ever been used and is in mint condition. I love the way it looks, but I’m guessing the price is a little steep. I don’t know about the parts…

Open Question: What is the song that goes with this music video?

September 29th, 2008

What is the song where in the music video there is a guy singing on the roof of a light-colored, multistoried building, and he is looking down, while people in similar-colored shirts are moving around to make certain shapes like a face, a car, a bicycle, etc. It is a slow song and I have seen the video on youtube, I just can’t think of any lyrics or even part of the name of the song. It is popular, and you have probably heard it before, I just can’t think of the tune or anything like that.

Resolved Question: I have a couple of female miniature pinscher issues…?

September 29th, 2008

My husband and I have been having some issues with our puppy. She is an adorable Miniature Pinscher, 6 mos. old and was spayed about three weeks ago.

1. She is able to jump onto our counters.
2. She pees our bed - she did this last night (my hubby closed the bedroom door to prevent her from getting back on the counter and eating food-again)
3. She barks at her reflection with her tail wagging
4. She barks at us while she is on our bed with her tail wagging
5. She bites us - still.
6. She barks at bicycle riders on bicycles

I don’t know what the heck is going on, and if this is part of her personality or if she’s just an insane genius. I don’t know what to do about some of the stuff she does (such as 1,2, and 5) and some of the other stuff I’m pretty sure we can train her not to do.

If anyone can offer some advice, then please let me know. Thanks.

Voting Question: Can anyone help interpret my dream ?

September 29th, 2008

I only remember bits and pieces of this dream. I was running with a girl, holding her hand. And we we running away from this snow avalanche that just occurred. We we unlucky in our pursuit to reach safety in time. I some how managed to get her above the snow, then I tried to come out of the snow but another avalanche came and it slowed me down tremendously, all i could feel was the weight of the snow on top of me. I could still move my arms so I kept reaching for the top when suddenly another avalanche came and at this point so much weight was over me that I knew I wasn’t able to get out of it. I tried moving my limbs , but they would budge. I was stuck and I felt as if I was going to be trapped under the snow and no one would be able to find me. Then the other part of my dream was about me proving my self to someone so I rode a bicycle across a bridge. Thats all I am able to recall at this time.
